Cheat atau kode curang dalam permainan  baik PC Game atau PS (Play Station) kadang-kadang disukai bahkan diperlukan sebagai hiburan atau refreshing termasuk cheat atau kode curang dalam permainan Age of Empires 2 (AOE2).

Dengan menggunakan cheat AOE 2 pemain bisa dapat memenangkan permainan dengan mudah karena dengan kode tersebut hal-hal yang mustahil didalam game bisa terjadi seperti bypass to kill all opponents, bypass to victory, membangun sebuah bangunan, dalam satu detik dengan seorang villager, menggerakan binatang, melihat gerakan musuh, dan sebagainya.

Cara menggunkanan cheat AOE2 tersebut adalah dengan menekan Enter pada saat permainan kemudian tulis cheat tersebut dan tekan Enter lagi maka akan terlihat efek dari cheat tersebut. Pada permainan AOE 2 Multiplayer untuk mengaktifkan cheat tersebut, cheat option harus di-checklist.

Contoh penggunaan cheat untuk membuat Mobil Cobra, pertama harus minimal mempunyai 1(asatu) Town Center. Tekan Enter kemudian tulis "How Do You Turn This On" dan tekan lagi Enter maka Mobil Cobra pun akan muncul di dekat Town Center, demikian pula cheat yang lain.

Cheat Age of Empires Earth

Age of  Empires Earth adalah game strategi yang sudah cukup tua yang dapat dimainkan multiplayer. Game ini hampir mirip dengan game Age of Empires 2 (AOE 2), dimana pemain harus melakukan sebuah strategi agar dapat memenangkan permainan termasuk upgrade pasukan, upgrade ekonomi, dan upgrade teknologi.

Tampilan grafiknya sudah cukup baik karena menggunakan mode 3D dan dapat diputar. Meskipun demikian popularitas game Age of Empires Earth ini tidak sebagus Game AOE 2, tetapi lebih digemari anak-anak.

Teknologi zaman di permainan ini bisa sampai membuat bom atom, robot, dan satelite bahkan monk-nya saja dapat membuat angin topan dan membuat gunung meletus. Cukup menghibur memang, tetapi bagi pemula, Cheat Age of Empires Earth masih dibutukan untuk memperlancar permainanan.
